Is this a safety device?
No. No seat cover is, including ours. It keeps your dog off the footwell and your car clean. For crash protection, clip a crash-tested harness to your seat belt. The Center for Pet Safety tests harnesses independently.
Will it fit my car?
Maybe not, and we would rather tell you before you pay. Send us the make, model and year. A person checks it against our measurements and answers. It is not made for third rows, and it won't fit every car.
How much weight does it hold?
We don't print a weight we haven't tested. When our load test is filmed, the number goes here, with the method. Until then, the Front-Edge Test is the one you can run yourself.
Will my dog lie down on it?
We can't promise how your dog will feel. We can promise what's under him: a floor that doesn't drop at the front edge, with grip on top.
I have captain's chairs. Does it work?
Send us the model first. The floor is designed to span the gap between the chairs, with the supports on the car's floor, but some consoles get in the way.
How do I install it?
No tools. Loops go around the headrests, anchors tuck into the seat crease, and you adjust the supports to your floor. The install video is linked on the card in the box.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum or wipe the top. Care instructions for each part are printed on the card in the box.
